Mafalda

The comica series Mafalda is a singular phenomenon in Latin America. It was created by de Argentinean cartoonist Quino. Mafalda first appeared in the weekly Primera Plana in 1964 and continued in many newspapers before Quino discontinued the series in 1973. However, it wasn't the end of Mafalda. More than twenty years later, Mafalda is still very popular throughout Latin America .

The brillance of Mafalda lies foremost in the quirkiness of a litlle girl. She hates soup, cares deeply about humanity, loves the beatles and has a bunch of equally quirky friend (Felipe,Manolito, Susanita, Libertad and Miguelito).
